Yes, there’ll be a model contest at MONSTER CON. Garage kit veteran, Neal DeConte, is driving in from Providence, Rhode Island to supervise the contest, and co-ordinate the judging. Stand by for more details, and we’ll be announcing some of the great prizes for contest winners soon.

The model contest categories are:

Classic Horror  

Modern Horror 

Science Fiction 

Fantasy  

Super Heroes & Villains 

Atomic Age 

And of course, there’ll be a special award for Best of Show.

 

Those who wish to enter, there’s a $5.00 Entry Fee for each finished model entry, and you can enter as many times as you wish… in different categories, or in just one. The Entry Fee is to be paid when you bring in your models for display.

 

You can also indicate if your finished model is for sale after the contest.

Entrants can bring their contest models either Friday, Set. 18th between 4:00 – 10:00pm, or Saturday, Swept. 19th between 7:30 – 9:30am. Model contest winners will be announced at 4:00pm on Saturday during MONSTER CON.
